Washing
Hand wash in cold water where possible — a soft brush and a little detergent on the collar or brim edge handles most marks. If it needs a full wash, use a mesh bag on a cold, gentle machine cycle.
Drying
Air dry away from direct heat. Don't tumble dry — heat can warp the pre-curved peak and loosen the embroidery. Reshape the crown gently while damp and let it dry somewhere it can hold its shape, like over a bowl or a cap form.
Protecting the embroidery
Turn the cap inside out if it's going anywhere it might rub against something rough, and avoid ironing directly over embroidered thread.
